Why we need to reduce waste...In New Zealand, all of our rubbish is buried in landfill sites. We don't have enough exsiting landfills to cope with the increasing amount of rubbish we are throwing away. Over half of what we put in our rubbish can be recycled or composted! Everyone needs to help if we are to keep our enviroment safe and clean. Restore Shop It's getting bigger and better, we have a regular clientele of local recyclers and shoppers come daily or weekly to browse, have a chat and find a bargain or drop off those items that have been in the cupboard or shed and are no longer used.
