Overview

WasteBusters Trust Canterbury was formed in 1994 to deliver hands on waste minimisation education to our schools and community under contract and in partnership with our Council. This partnership earned Ashburton District the supreme national Zero Waste award in 2005.

 

Wastebusters Trust Canterbury are a community more than profit Trust.

From our humble beginnings our schools, businesses and community have shown a real commitment to being involved in WasteBusters activities including annual Waste Fest & Wearable Arts, plantings and developments at the Ashburton Resource Recovery Parks and continuing to reduce waste transported to Kate Valley Landfill.

After many years of hard work and dedication WasteBusters have emerged as leaders in their field.
